In 2020, in response to a commission from the Kunstenfestivaldesarts, he created Mowgli (premiere initially scheduled for May 2020 at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts and May 2021 at the Kunstenfestivalde- sarts due to the Covid 19 crisis), inspired by the jungle as an infinite territory at the crossroads of contemporary myths. In 2021, in the same year he created Natural Drama, the result of research initiated in 2018, which questions the notion of “Nature”. His latest project, a trilogy, developed and shared on the occasion of his residency at Palais de Tokyo in November 2022, inspired Sorour Darabi for a new project, Mille et Une Nuits, a contemporary opera, which visits the notion of “Night” through Scheherazade‘a perspective. In addition to his creations, Sorour Darabi regularly gives workshops for advanced or professional artists / dancers, the last of which took place at Trauma Bar Und Kino in Berlin (Germany) in February 2023. Thanks to his latests projects, these fews last years, new collaborators enrich his artistic universe: Eléna Tissier, Pablo Altar, Detente, Ange Halliwell among others.
